Business Management with Marketing and Integrated Foundation Year BSc
About This Programme
The BSc Business Management with Marketing and Integrated Foundation Year adds a foundation year in Dubai to the University of Birmingham Dubai's business management with marketing degree, making a four-year programme for students who need a foundation year before first-year university entry. Developed with companies including Beiersdorf, Big Cat, Cogent Elliott, UBAglu and Unilever, the degree builds broad marketing knowledge and hands-on experience alongside intellectual, analytical and perceptual skills, and the transferable skills needed to carry out strategic marketing in new and demanding contexts. Close links with industry keep the course relevant and let students learn from practising marketers, with modules designed around the skills today's employers look for.
Course Highlights
- Birmingham Business School appears consistently in international rankings and holds triple-crown accreditation from AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB, placing it in an elite group.

- The University of Birmingham has been one of the universities most targeted by the UK's top graduate employers for the last decade (High Fliers Research 2026).
What You'll Study
Learning combines lectures, collaborative projects and personal support in small-group sessions. Small classes build on the material covered in lectures, and students work in groups and give presentations, both skills employers value. Students have 30 hours of contact time a week; the rest is independent study based on each module's content and requirements. Assessment is by coursework and exams. Coursework includes reports, essays, group presentations, class essays and computer assignments. Satisfactory results are needed to move on to the next year, and the final degree is based on marks from the third and fourth years of study plus the credits built up across the programme.
