What You'll Study

Structured Learning: 30 hours of weekly contact time, supplemented by self-guided study tailored to your degree programme and specific module requirements. Both placements are worth 120 credits in total and comprise of 12.5% of the total degree classification. Year 1

You'll build a solid foundation of business management skills suited to the UAE region and worldwide. You will complete 7 core modules and 2 compulsory Ministry of Education modules. You’ll take two work placements in the summer vacation at the end of year two and end of year three.

You will also complete a dissertation on a topic that interests you. If you complete work experience over the summer, you can choose the Professional Development module in place of one of the third year taught modules.

Entry Requirements

Academic: The Foundation Pathways are suitable if you've completed your high school education to a high standard and you'd normally require a foundation year before being eligible for first-year undergraduate entry to UK universities.
English: To study at the University, you must be able to demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English. Many applicants do this by submitting a recent IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE result, or by completing a Presessional English course. The level of English language proficiency required varies depending on your level of study and subject area.
