About

The Central School (TCS) is one of the oldest Indian curriculum schools in Dubai, established in 1982 in Deira and relocating to its current Al Nahda campus in 2002. A unit of the NIMS Group of Schools founded by Dr. M. K. Kamaluddin Haji, TCS follows the CBSE curriculum from KG1 through Grade 12, with Montessori-influenced learning in the Kindergarten section and Science and Commerce streams at the senior secondary level. Rated Acceptable by KHDA for 2023-2024, the school achieved Good ratings for student wellbeing and in English attainment across most phases. The campus features fully equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Home Science laboratories, four computer labs, a library, an auditorium, basketball and volleyball courts, a cricket pitch, and separate playgrounds for primary and kindergarten children. TCS enrols approximately 3,550 students and is guided by the motto "Mind Without Fear," nurturing confident, curious learners in an inclusive, student-centred environment. The school is known for its affordability and serves a diverse student body primarily from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

His transformational leadership philosophy focuses on empowering teachers, motivating students, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing school culture.
