PACE Springfield International School

The school publishes both a regulator-approved fee and the lower amount it actually charges, under a column headed "Discounted Tuition Fees", and the lower figure is shown here. No condition is attached to it: the school's own termly payment plan adds up to the discounted figure plus the medical fee on every band, not to the approved one, and the regulator records the reduction against every grade. A compulsory medical fee of AED 500 a year is charged alongside tuition. Two further reductions are conditional: 10 per cent for Emiratis and 15 per cent for the children of martyrs. New students pay a AED 500 placement test fee and a AED 500 non-refundable registration fee, plus an enrolment fee of up to 10 per cent of tuition deducted from the first term; returning students pay up to 5 per cent. The school states its terms as 40, 30 and 30 per cent, though the instalments it prints do not divide that way. Uniform costs about AED 600 and transport AED 5,500 to AED 8,000 a year by zone. The school's fee page carries no academic year label.
