Russian International School

The Russian International School is the only school in the UAE offering Russian educational programmes, located in Muhaisnah 4, Dubai. Originally established in 1994 and KHDA-registered since 2006, the school follows Russian federal educational standards from KG1 through Grade 11. Rated Good by KHDA for 2023-2024, the school achieved Outstanding Mathematics attainment at the secondary level and Very Good performance in Mathematics, Science, teaching, curriculum quality, and learning skills across primary, middle, and secondary phases. The student body includes children from Russia and CIS countries including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, and Lithuania. Led by School Director Marina Borisovna Khalikova with 38 years of experience, the school integrates Russian language, culture, and national identity alongside Arabic and English instruction. The campus features a library with electronic resources, a Science Demo Centre, school radio, and transport services. Students participate in international competitions including AUS MUN, JMUN debate, Kangaroo mathematics, and Russian Bear literary competitions, as well as the First Steps student research conference programme.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Tuition for 2026-2027 as published by the school. Tuition falls at Grade 9 and again at Grade 11, which looks odd but is deliberate: those are the Russian state examination years, and the school moves cost into a mandatory fee that rises to AED 5,453 in each of them against about AED 3,400 in other grades, so the combined amount still rises with every year group. That mandatory fee covers academic competitions, olympiads and cultural programmes, and examination charges of AED 525 to 970 apply from Grade 1. The school teaches to Grade 11, the full length of the Russian federal programme, so there is no Grade 12. Payment falls in four instalments across three terms, due 15 August 2026, 1 October 2026, 1 January 2027 and 10 April 2027. New students pay a registration fee of 10 per cent of tuition and returning students 5 per cent, plus a AED 500 application fee covering the entrance test. The school publishes no discount or scholarship. A weekend programme for Russian-speaking children at other schools is run free of charge.
