Greenwood International School admits students from KG1 to Grade 12, with the main registration window opening in March/April for the September intake. Entry is by an age-appropriate assessment that varies by grade, and a place is confirmed once the transfer certificate is received and the enrolment contract is signed.
Apply Online
Complete the application form online at greenwood.sch.ae from March/April and upload the required documents. Applications can also be submitted in person at the school's administration office.
Submit Documents
Provide the learner's and parents' Emirates IDs, a transfer/leaving certificate, a recent photo of the learner, the vaccination card/medical file and a recommendation letter from the current school. Documents issued abroad must be attested by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sit the Entrance Assessment
Assessment is age-appropriate (cut-off 31 August): a verbal interview for KG1; a written test and motor-skills check for KG2; a written test and interview for Grade 1; and a CAT4 test followed by an interview for Grades 2 to 12.
Receive the Outcome
The school confirms the assessment outcome and, where successful, issues a place offer for the relevant grade.
Confirm Enrolment
Enrolment is finalised once the family submits the Transfer Certificate from the previous school and signs the enrolment contract with GIS.
