Rushmore American School is an American-curriculum school in Al Suyoh, Sharjah. It opened in August 2025 and was officially inaugurated in November 2025 by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. It teaches to the Massachusetts State Standards, says it is pursuing accreditation from NEASC, and is managed by Mayfair Education for its co-founders. For 2026-27 it enrols Pre-KG to Grade 8, and it plans to add Grades 9 to 12 starting in the following academic year. Boys and girls learn together up to Grade 4 and are taught separately from Grade 5. Arabic, Islamic Studies, UAE social studies and moral education are taught alongside the American subjects, and the school runs an Emirati Stars! talent programme. The campus has six science labs, three ICT suites, two Fab Labs, an 8-lane 25-metre pool with a learner pool, two multipurpose halls, a gym and a kindergarten section with its own entrance.

Fees shown are the school's Founding Families fees for 2026/27. Beside them the school lists SPEA-approved fees: SPEA's own fee sheet for the school gives the same figures for Pre-KG to Grade 7 (AED 35,000 to 55,000, tuition and books), and the Grade 8 to 12 figures come from the school's fee page. From Grade 9 the Founding Families fee is the approved fee. Grades 9 to 12 are not taught yet: the school says it will add them starting in the following academic year. Pre-KG, KG1 and KG2. The kindergarten programme is rooted in the Massachusetts standards, topic-based and child-centred, and taught through play, stories and songs. Reading and writing are taught with the Read Write Inc. phonics scheme, and Arabic is introduced through play, song, rhyme and pictures (the school's kindergarten page).
Grades 1 to 5, taught to the Massachusetts State Standards. Homeroom teachers cover the core subjects, with specialist lessons in Arabic, Islamic Studies, UAE social studies and PE. Grades 1 to 4 learn in co-educational groups with some ability grouping; in Grade 5 boys and girls are taught separately by specialist teachers (the school's elementary page and curriculum overviews).
Grades 6 to 8, taught to the Massachusetts State Standards, with boys and girls in separate groups. Students are grouped in form bases with a form tutor, classes mix ability and subject sets, and lessons take place in specialist rooms. The programme includes careers education, life skills and study skills. She has more than 15 years' experience in education in the UK and UAE, was Principal of Ormiston Rivers Academy in Essex and a System Leader for the Academies Enterprise Trust, and was named Essex Secondary Headteacher of the Year in 2017 (the school's team page and its February 2025 announcement).
