American Gulf School

American Gulf School (AGS) is a private, co-educational school in the Al Rahmaniyah community of Sharjah, opened in 2021 and chaired by Sheikh Majid Al Qasimi. It is the only school in Sharjah to offer the full International Baccalaureate continuum, the Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP), Diploma (DP) and Career-related (CP) programmes, delivered alongside a US California Common Core base in the primary years, from Pre-KG to Grade 12 (ages 3-18). A small, well-resourced school of around 451 students (roughly 63% Emirati) with an exceptional teacher-to-student ratio of about 1:8, it features three STEAM and robotics labs and two libraries, and earned a Good rating from SPEA in its first full inspection (March 2024) with Phase 1 rated Very Good.
Fees read from the school's published fee schedule; SPEA rating from its 2025-26 inspection report. How Talem verifies →
Per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Fees are the school's own published Standard Fees, and they already include the AED 2,000 books and resources charge, which is payable with the first instalment rather than added on top. The school also publishes the higher figure SPEA has approved, shown alongside; it charges below that ceiling at every grade. No academic year is printed on the school's fee page, and the same table has been standing unchanged since at least October 2025, so no year is claimed here. The school states it is currently open from Pre-K to Grade 10 even though it is licensed and priced to Grade 12. Beyond tuition, Grade 12 pays AED 3,000 for external examinations and Grade 10 AED 500 for personal projects. A one-time application fee of AED 525 including VAT is not refundable or deductible, and registration is AED 1,000 within ten days of an offer, set against the first term; continuing students pay the same as a re-registration deposit. Transport runs AED 7,400 to 8,400 depending on route. No discounts of any kind are published. Refunds follow SPEA's regulations.
