Entry Requirements

Academic: A relevant master's degree with a CGPA of at least 3.25/4.00 (or direct entry from a bachelor's with at least 3.50 and a GRE quantitative score >=150). Applicants submit two reference letters, a statement of purpose, a research statement and a CV, and complete an interview.
English: TOEFL iBT 91 or IELTS Academic 6.5.

PhD scholarships are competitive and merit-based: awards may carry a full or partial tuition waiver and a monthly stipend, whose amount Khalifa University does not publish, with an Abu Dhabi pension for UAE nationals. Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an award.

Careers

Graduates move into academia, national space and defence agencies such as the UAE Space Agency and satellite programmes, and aerospace industry R&D.
