Entry Requirements

Academic: A competitive secondary-school record — typically 80-90% in Mathematics and a science (programme-dependent) — with UAE Ministry of Education equivalency where required. All applicants sit the Khalifa University Admission Test (KUAT) and a recorded video interview.
English: IELTS Academic 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, or EmSAT English 1250 (conditional admission at IELTS 5.5).

SAT Math >=700 or strong AP scores strengthen an application; the foundation year has been discontinued (conditional admits take remedial courses).

Careers

Graduates enter the oil, gas, petrochemical, water, pharmaceutical and energy industries as process, production and design engineers.

Accreditation & Professional Recognition

Accredited by the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) and licensed by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
