4-year BEng (Hons) Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems, learning-by-doing emphasis with hands-on individual and group projects from Year 3. Year 1: Introduction to Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Praxis Electronic Design, Mathematics for Engineers and Scientists 1, Software Development 1 (Sep); Praxis Programming, Robotics group project, Mathematics 2, Software Development 2 (Jan). Year 2: Digital Design and Programming, Circuits and Analysis, Mathematics 3, Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms (Sep); Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems, Introduction to Robotics, Mathematics 4, Data Structures and Algorithms (Jan). Year 3: Probability/Statistics/Information Theory, Sustainable Development and Engineering Management, Signals and Systems, AI and Intelligent Agents (Sep); Electrical Power and Machines, Time and Frequency Signal Analysis, System Project (Jan; large integrated team design project). Year 4 mandatory full-year: 4th Year Individual Project (significant engineering investigation). Year 4 Sep optional: Linear Control, Embedded Systems, Biologically Inspired Computation, Robotics Systems Science, Dynamics 1, Intelligent Robotics, Data Mining and Machine Learning. Year 4 Jan optional: Advanced Human Computer Interaction, Robotic Mechanical Systems, Image Processing. Year 1 entry: A-Level CCC (Math + Physics mandatory); IB 24 (3 HL inc. Math/Physics); CBSE 65%; American HS 70% + SAT I 1000; Tawjihiyya 80% (Elite 75%); FBISE 70%; BTEC L3 MMM; Scottish Highers BBBB; French Bac 12/20 + IELTS 6.0; Lebanese Bac 80% or 13/20 + IELTS 6.0; Russian/Kazakhstan Attestat grade 5 + IELTS 6.0. Year 2 advanced entry: A-Level BBC; IB 27; CBSE 85%; HND PPP; BTEC L3 DDD; FBISE 85%; Cert HE C minimum; Scottish Advance Higher BC + BBBB. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September intake (Year 1 + Year 2 advanced); January intake via Certificate of Higher Education in Engineering (CHEE) pathway. Tuition AED 82,264/year (incl. Detailed Course Guide Builds on the core skills with more advanced electronic engineering, software and mechanical engineering topics. Concepts of robotics and autonomy are introduced through courses on robot kinematics and autonomous vehicle control. This work is supported by practical activities.

Year 4
Detailed Course Guide Options allow the student to focus on particular areas of interest. Topics include: robotics and automation, embedded systems, signal and image processing, virtual worlds and interaction, and biologically inspired computing. A project covering the full year allows the student to investigate and solve a significant science or engineering problem.

Accreditation & Professional Recognition
This programme is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the United Kingdom. This programme is in the process of reaccreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Accreditation is awarded through a renewal-based and periodic accreditation review process which is currently underway for academic year 2025/26 entry
