4-year automotive engineering degree combining mechanical engineering fundamentals with applied automotive technologies, design, and manufacture. Year 1: Mechanics A/B (Fields and Forces), Introduction to Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Engineering in Context, Mathematics for Engineers and Scientists 1/2, Waves and Matter, Introduction to Mechanical Engineering. Year 2: Mechatronics and Metaskills, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials A/B, Mathematics 3/4, Design and Manufacture, Dynamics, Thermodynamics A/B. Year 3: Sustainable Development and Engineering Management, Design and Manufacture 3/4, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Vibration Analysis & Control Engineering, Automotive Technologies 1. Year 4: Dynamics 1/2, Automotive Technologies 2, Industrial Design and Manufacture, Engineering Individual Project, optional Fluid Machines, Advanced Mechanics of Materials, Heat Exchangers. Year 1 entry: A-Level CCC; IB 24; CBSE 65%; American HS 70% + SAT I 1000; Tawjihiyya 80% (Elite 75%); FBISE 70%; Scottish Highers BBBB; BTEC L3 Ext Diploma MMM; Lebanese/French Bac 80%/12/20 + IELTS 6.0. Mandatory: Math + Physics. Year 2 advanced entry: A-Level BBC; IB 27; CBSE 85%; HND PPP; BTEC L3 Ext Diploma DDD. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). Students participate in HWRacing, designing and building F1-style vehicles annually. September intake. Tuition AED 82,264/year (incl. Accreditation & Professional Recognition

IMechE This programme is accredited by the IMechE on behalf of the Engineering Council. Students completing an IMechE accredited degree are deemed to have met part or all of the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and are in a strong position to move on to achieve professional engineering status after a period of initial professional development in industry. The accredited BEng (Hons) will meet, in part, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer and Students will need to complete an approved format of further learning pursuant to the requirements of UK-SPEC.
