Year 2 (Sep): Sustainable Development and Engineering Management, Digital Design and Programming, Circuits and Analysis, Mathematics 3; (Jan) Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems, Electrical Power and Machines, Introduction to Electricity and Magnetism, Mathematics 4. Year 3 (Sep): Probability, Statistics, and Information Theory, Electrical Energy Systems, Signals and Systems, Semiconductor Electronics; (Jan) Electromagnetism, Time and Frequency Signal Analysis, System Project. Year 4 (Sep optional): Advanced Analogue Electronics, Embedded Systems, Linear Control, Digital Signal Processing. (Jan optional) Sustainable Energy and Power Systems, Image Processing, Industrial Power Systems. Mandatory full-year capstone: 4th Year Individual Project (dissertation + presentation). Real-world design challenges (example: electronic egg for penguin incubation monitoring). Year 1 entry: A-Level CCC (Math + Physics mandatory); IB 24 (3 HL inc. Math/Physics); CBSE 65%; American HS 70% + SAT I 1000; Tawjihiyya 80% (Elite 75%); FBISE 70%; BTEC L3 MMM; Scottish Highers BBBB; Lebanese Bac 80% or 13/20 + IELTS 6.0; French Bac 12/20 + IELTS 6.0. Year 2 advanced entry: A-Level BBC (Math/Physics); IB 27; CBSE 85%; HND PPP; BTEC L3 DDD; FBISE 85%; Cert HE C minimum. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September intake (Year 1 + Year 2 advanced); January intake via Certificate of Higher Education in Engineering (CHEE) pathway. Tuition AED 82,264/year (incl. VAT), total AED 329,056. Year 1
Detailed Course Guide Develops the students’ knowledge of mathematics and physics. Introduces topics within electrical and electronic engineering and their underlying principles. The fundamentals of computers, circuit theory, programming and software engineering are introduced as tools for today’s engineers. In the practical laboratories, students are exposed to efficient ways of working, experimentation and reporting of work.

Year 2
Detailed Course Guide Analysis of electrical and electronic systems is taught in the second year and is backed up by laboratory exercises of a more investigative nature. Programming and software development are studied further. The design process is introduced through a set of analogue and digital project assignments. Students also study Business Awareness, Safety and Sustainability to prepare them for working in industry. Direct entrants to second year are offered bridging courses to revise essential material from the first year.

Year 3
Detailed Course Guide The emphasis turns to design synthesis. Subjects such as Energy Systems, Power Electronics, Communications and Signal Processing are studied in a comparative manner from which emerge identities that help students to deepen their understanding of the subject. The process of innovation through team working is developed in small group projects that require an integrated combination of hardware and software to reach a design objective.

Accreditation & Professional Recognition
This programme is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the United Kingdom. This programme is in the process of reaccreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Accreditation is awarded through a renewal-based and periodic accreditation review process which is currently underway for academic year 2025/26 entry
