

Gulf Asian English School (GAES) is a private, co-educational Indian school in Muwailih Commercial on Maliha Road, Sharjah, following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum from KG1 to Grade 12 (ages 4-18). Established in 1975, it is among Sharjah's oldest Indian schools and is operated by the PACE Education Group, whose schools together educate around 20,000 students. With roughly 6,474 pupils, GAES teaches mixed classes in the early years and separates boys and girls into different classes from Grade 5. The school is rated Good by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) in its 2024-25 cycle, an improvement from Acceptable, and offers strong facilities including an indoor swimming pool, dedicated Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Home Science laboratories, and participates in international benchmarking assessments such as PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS and CAT4.
