GEMS Our Own High School - Al Warqa'a is a boys' Indian CBSE school in Al Warqa'a, Dubai, teaching KG1 to Grade 12. It began as the boys' branch of Our Own English High School, Dubai, which opened in Bastakiya in 1968: when the Ministry of Education ended split-shift schooling in 2005, the boys of Grades 5 to 12 moved with their staff to a new campus in Al Warqa'a under a new name. It is one of the largest schools in the emirate. KHDA counted 4,659 students at its September 2023 inspection and the school gives its current roll as around 4,700, taught by 218 teachers and supported by about 200 administrative and support staff. The largest nationality group is Indian. Senior Secondary runs two streams, Science and Commerce, and the school also offers NIOS and ASDAN pathways for students who need them. KHDA has rated the school Good in all twelve inspections since 2010-2011, with Very Good for wellbeing and Good for inclusion and for the National Agenda Parameter, and awarded Outstanding across every phase for personal and social development and for health and safety, and Outstanding for English attainment in the Middle and Secondary phases. The school reported 100% pass rates in both the Class X and Class XII CBSE examinations in 2023 and 2024. It holds the Wellbeing Award for Schools from the National Children's Bureau and Optimus Education.

Fees are unchanged for 2026-2027. Grades 11 and 12 are offered in Science and Commerce streams only, and the Science stream costs more. Separate charges apply for board examinations, at AED 825 for Grade 10 and AED 900 for Grade 12, for CBSE registration in Grades 9 and 11 at AED 100, and AED 31.50 including VAT for the bus ID card, diary and report card.
