GEMS International School - Dubai Hills (GIS) is a co-educational IB World School in Dubai Hills, part of GEMS Education and founded in 2013. It teaches the full International Baccalaureate continuum from Pre-KG to Grade 12: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, and then either the Diploma Programme or the Career-related Programme. Its CP Pre-Med Pathway is described by the school as the world's first and only IB Career-related Programme in Pre-Med, for students aiming at medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and other health-related fields. KHDA rated the school Good for 2023-2024, with a Very Good wellbeing rating and Outstanding judgements for health and safety and for parents and the community across all four phases. Of the Class of 2024, 100% gained university entry and 91% went to their first choice, receiving 602 offers and USD 31.5 million in scholarships. The school is the official GEMS Centre of Excellence for Aeronautics, Aviation and Space, a STEAM facility covering pilot training, drone building, coding, robotics and AI, and it draws a community of 105 nationalities. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools and holds the IQM International Inclusive School and Centre of Excellence awards. It was previously known as GEMS International School - Al Khail, which remains its KHDA-registered entity name.

Fees are the school's published 2026-27 structure, which it heads "KHDA Approved Tuition Fees 2026-27". Every year group from KG1 upward is charged at the approved figure. Pre-KG is the exception: KHDA's 2026-2027 fact sheet shows a discount of AED 5,915 in the main fee block, bringing an approved AED 52,415 down to AED 46,500, and the school headlines that lower figure. The reduction is new this year, as the school's own 2025-26 fact sheet priced Pre-KG at AED 52,415 with no discount. Note that the school's Pre-KG instalment rows still add up to the older AED 52,415, so a family should confirm which figure their invoice uses. Tuition is payable annually or in three terms of 40, 30 and 30 percent. A registration deposit of 10 percent of tuition, or 5 percent for returning pupils, is deductible from the year's fees, and an application fee of AED 525 applies. English language support, transport, uniform and extracurricular activities are charged separately.

It combines IB Diploma courses with a career-related study, and the school offers six pathways: Aviation, Aeronautics, STEM, Business, Creative Media and Sport. The career-related study is an International BTEC Level 3 Award in Business, Creative Media or Sport. Students can also take the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Dual Enrolment Programme, earning transferable college credits with pathways in STEM, Business with Aeronautics and Aviation, and Business with STEM.
