GEMS Cambridge International School Sharjah (GCS) is a private, co-educational British school in the Muweilah School Zone, overlooking the American University of Sharjah, and part of GEMS Education. Opened in 2019, it delivers the UK National Curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage through IGCSE and International A-Levels (examined via Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge International and Oxford AQA). Principal & CEO
Ranju Anand joined GEMS Education nearly three decades ago as a secondary teacher and led the opening of four new GEMS schools, including GEMS Cambridge International Private School Sharjah in 2019, before becoming its Principal and CEO in 2024. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL).
