École Internationale Française de Sharjah

École Internationale Française de Sharjah (EIFS) is a private, co-educational French-curriculum school in the Al Abar area of Sharjah, on the site of the long-running Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou. It delivers the French national curriculum (homologated by the AEFE and approved by the French Ministry of National Education) from Petite Section through the Collège, currently to 4ème (Grade 8), expanding year by year. Teaching is in French alongside UAE-mandated Arabic, with English taught as a foreign language. Home to around 300 students from over 20 nationalities, EIFS is rated Very Good by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).
Fees for 2025/2026, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Admissions for 2026/27 are open from Petite Section to 4eme, but the school publishes no separate 2026/27 fee table - its schedule is labelled "Tarifs en vigueur au 01/09/2025", the rates in force from 1 September 2025, and those are the figures shown. They are annual amounts in AED, not per trimestre, and are stated inclusive of books. 4eme is newly opening in September 2026. The school is a conventionne member of the AEFE network, established in the UAE in 1974 and renamed in September 2023, and says it intends to reopen its college and lycee.
