Crescent English High School

Crescent English High School (CEHS) is one of Dubai's longest-standing Indian curriculum schools, established in 1984 by educationist and social worker Al-Haj N. Jamaludin in Al Qusais. The school follows the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) framework and serves students from KG1 through Grade 12, offering Science and Commerce streams at the senior secondary level. With over 1,550 students predominantly from Indian families, CEHS positions itself as an affordable, community-rooted school with a strong Islamic ethos. The school achieved 100% pass rate in CBSE examinations for 2023-24 and also offers the Ontario High School Diploma through a partnership with Vineyard Academy for students in Grades 9-12. Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sharafudeen Thanikatt, the school has stabilised with an Acceptable KHDA rating, with particular strengths in KG provision (Good across English, Mathematics, Science, Teaching, and Curriculum), Personal and Social Development (Very Good across all phases), and English (Good across all phases). The school received the Best Schools Award at the 10th India Middle East Education Grand Awards 2024.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
One of the most affordable CBSE schools in Dubai. The academic year runs April to March, in three collection periods: April to June, September to December and January to March. The figures shown are tuition only and match the fees the regulator has approved for 2026-2027, though the school's own fee pages are still headed 2025-2026. A compulsory additional charge applies to every year group and is proportionally large at this price level: AED 1,232 in kindergarten, covering activities and a computer and library fee, and between AED 397 and AED 827 in other grades, so a kindergarten place actually costs AED 4,091 a year rather than AED 2,859. Tuition roughly doubles at Grade 11 and again at Grade 12, which is the school's published CBSE senior-school pricing rather than a separate stream. New students pay a AED 500 application fee covering assessment and an enrolment fee of up to 10 per cent of tuition, deducted from the first term. The school publishes no discount and no refund policy. Books, uniform, stationery, a laptop and transport are charged separately.
