Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Engineering Management

BScUndergraduateEngineering

About This Programme

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Engineering Management (BScIEM) is designed to prepare future engineers to lead in smart industry, digital transformation, logistics, supply chains, and sustainable operational systems. In a world driven by Industry 5.0, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and global logistics, there is a growing need for engineers who not only understand complex systems, but can design, optimize, and lead them. The program is designed to develop engineers capable of improving complex industrial and logistics systems through data-driven and technology-enabled solutions, with a strong emphasis on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. Students build a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, computing, and engineering sciences, followed by specialized study in key industrial engineering areas such as operations research, systems modeling, probability and statistics, engineering economy, supply chain engineering, quality engineering, simulation, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things applications. Aligned with the UAE's priorities in advanced manufacturing and global logistics, the program offers two concentration pathways: Smart Manufacturing and Industry Systems Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering The world-class curricula blend academic excellence with hands-on experience through labs, real-world design projects, industry internships, and a capstone graduation project, equipping graduates with the skills and confidence to tackle real-world challenges and drive innovation in the UAE's dynamic economy. Designed with a global outlook, the program aligns with leading international standards, including the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, ensuring graduates are prepared to compete and lead on a global stage.
