Entry Requirements

Academic: A secondary-school average of about 85% (or in the best two of the last three years), with UAE Ministry of Education equivalency where required, and a minimum grade B in the mathematics and science subjects required for the major. American-curriculum applicants take the SAT or EmSAT mathematics test.
English: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS Academic 6.5, or EmSAT Achieve English 1550.

A mathematics placement test determines direct entry to Calculus I.

Careers

Electrical engineers work in controls, electronics, robotics and drones, communications, power and renewable-energy systems, satellite systems and biomedical electronics across the region's technology, energy and telecom sectors.

Accreditation & Professional Recognition

Licensed by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA); accredited by the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC), reaffirmed through 2030.
