A pre-degree pathway for admitted students who score below the English-language proficiency threshold. Students take up to five courses a semester (mostly intensive English, plus up to two credit-bearing College of Arts and Sciences courses) and progress into full undergraduate study on passing the upper-level bridge courses — about 75% finish in a single semester.
Intensive, content-based English instruction integrating reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking in zero-credit ELP/BPE courses; students take five courses per semester and may concurrently take selected credit-bearing 100-level CAS courses if placement is met.
On successful completion, students matriculate into their chosen undergraduate major.
Not a degree; on meeting the exit criteria, students matriculate into their chosen AUS undergraduate major, having raised English proficiency and academic study skills to university level.
Delivered by AUS, which is licensed by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and institutionally accredited in the US by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The Bridge Program is a non-credit, preparatory (English-language) programme, not a degree.
