Ambassador International Academy (AIA) Mankhool is a new International Baccalaureate Candidate School opening in August 2026 in Al Mankhool, Bur Dubai, on a purpose-built 400,000 square foot campus. It is a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme and is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. The school opens with Pre-KG to Grade 8 and describes a roadmap to the full IB continuum, adding the Diploma and Career-related Programmes in later phases as it grows. It is part of Bridge Education, a family-owned group whose institutions also include Ambassador International Academy (Dubai), Ambassador School (Dubai) and Ambassador School (Sharjah). Co-educational and guided by its AMBASSADOR values, it pairs academic rigour with holistic development: a whole-school wellbeing approach built on the PERMAH model with a dedicated counselling team, a three-wave inclusion model for Students of Determination, and a High Potential Learners programme. Founding Principal Ruth Burke leads the team, with Paul Gardner as Vice Principal and Head of Secondary, Daniel Allmark as Head of Primary and Patricia Ferguson as Head of Early Years.

The school opens in August 2026 with Pre-KG to Grade 8 only. Fees for Year 10 to Year 13 (Grade 9 to Grade 12) are published at AED 95,000 but those year groups open in later phases as the school grows. A separate Early Childhood Centre for ages 12 months to 3 years also opens in August 2026, with its own fee grid of AED 27,000 to 49,000 depending on days per week and session length. KHDA-approved 2026/27 tuition is shown alongside discounted founding-family rates for 2026/27 (see the per-grade table). Sibling discounts apply to tuition only for 2026/27 and are not given on the eldest child. Bus transport is provided by third-party operator G1 Transport Services and charged over ten months across three terms: AED 7,200 both ways for Mankhool, Bur Dubai, Karama, Satwa, Oud Metha and Jaffilia; AED 9,000 both ways or AED 7,200 one way for all other areas of Dubai; and AED 13,200 both ways for Sharjah. Extra-curricular activities (ECAs) are offered alongside school-managed, paid after-school activities (ASAs). French or Spanish is offered from Grade 5, and English Language Learning (ELL) support runs school-wide; the school's admissions FAQ states KG2 to Grade 11 while its ELL department page describes provision from Grade 3 through Grades 11-12. Both scholarships run for the 2026/27 academic year, are awarded annually on academic records, attendance and conduct, are valid for one academic year and are subject to annual renewal. A student may apply for both, but the maximum combined discount is 25%.

Principal
Principal of AIA Mankhool with over three decades of experience, having taught in Ireland, the UK and the UAE, and with a career spanning four Dubai schools: Jumeirah English Speaking School, GEMS Wellington International School, Deira International School and Swiss International Scientific School Dubai. Specialises in the International Baccalaureate programmes. Holds a Bachelor of Education from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Bath.
