The Early Years is the cornerstone of education at AIA, setting the foundation for lifelong learning. The programme uses inquiry and play-based learning in a safe, inclusive environment, combining the IB framework with the English National Curriculum.
Teaching Approach
Inquiry and play-based learning. Child-centred approach developing curiosity, creativity, and social skills in a nurturing environment.
Combines the IB PYP framework with the British National Curriculum. Inquiry-based, holistic approach designed to develop compassionate, knowledgeable, and inquisitive learners capable of lifelong learning. Culminates in the PYP Exhibition in Grade 5.
Teaching Approach
Transdisciplinary inquiry-based learning through six themes. Students develop the IB Learner Profile attributes. PYP Exhibition in final year.
Focuses on developing students socially and intellectually by encouraging connections between learning and real-world applications. Students complete the MYP eAssessment and Personal Project in Grade 10, achieving a 100% pass rate with an average of 41.03/56 points.
