Al Marifa International School Sharjah

Al Marifa International School Sharjah is a private, co-educational school in Al Yarmouk and one of Sharjah's longest-standing private schools, established in 1986. It runs a dual-track programme, blending American and British frameworks in the early phases and offering British IGCSE, AS and A-Level (Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel) alongside a parallel American College Board pathway (PSAT/SAT/ACT/AP) in the upper school. With around 3,378 students, Al Marifa is rated Very Good by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), an improvement from Acceptable in 2018, and holds dual international accreditation from COGNIA and AIAA (AdvancED).
Fees for 2025/2026, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
The school has not published a 2026/27 schedule. These are its 2025/26 figures, taken from the fee sheet on its own site, which the school titles "Tuition and other Fees approved by SPEA for the Academic Year 2025 - 2026". Two priced streams run side by side: an American ladder from Pre-KG to Grade 12, AED 14,360 to 27,470, and a British stream for the exam years only, Year 10 to Year 13, AED 22,235 to 25,820. Both are shown here. A separate, clearly labelled Benchmark Assessments fee is charged on top of tuition at Grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 (AED 313) and Grade 11 (AED 94) on the American ladder, and at Year 10 (AED 253) on the British one; it is not included in the tuition shown. The school states that Arabic Ministry textbooks and international examinations are excluded from tuition.
