Al Ansar International School Sharjah
About Al Ansar International School Sharjah
Al Ansar International School Sharjah is a private, co-educational British school in the Al Gharayen / Al Qarain area of Sharjah, delivering the UK National Curriculum within an Islamic ethos. Established in 2001, it teaches from the Early Years Foundation Stage through Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A-Level (examined via Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and Oxford AQA), and runs both a UK-curriculum stream and a UAE Ministry of Education stream. Classes are mixed in the early years and segregated from around Grade 4. With around 2,739 students (including 644 Emiratis), Al Ansar is rated Very Good by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), an improvement from Acceptable in 2018, and is a registered Cambridge examination centre with a strong Arabic-English dual-language emphasis.
Fees read from the school's published fee schedule; SPEA rating from its 2024-25 inspection report. Last checked 10 July 2026. How Talem verifies →
Annual tuition fees
Per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
The school's website was unreachable when this was last checked - its host returns "resource limit reached" - so these figures could not be reconfirmed against the school's own page and no academic year is being claimed for them. SPEA's last published approval for this licence covers 2024/25 and runs from AED 17,015 to 29,244, a figure that bundles tuition with books. Note that SPEA lists a separate Al Ansar National Private School, an MoE-curriculum school at a different address; the fees here are for Al Ansar International, the British-curriculum school.
