Research areas: the role of nutrients, foods and dietary patterns in disease prevention and health promotion; macronutrient and micronutrient metabolism; human nutrition assessment; community nutrition; nutritional immunology; physical activity and fitness; and nutrition-related non-communicable diseases.
Full transcripts, two references and, where required, a research proposal are needed.
Graduates pursue careers in food science, nutrition, dietetics, quality assurance and public health, or continue to professional registration and postgraduate study.
