The Philippine School

The Philippine School (TPS) is a private co-educational school located in Muhaisnah 2, Dubai, offering the Philippine K-12 curriculum from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Inaugurated in February 2008, the school originally opened in Al Twar before relocating to Al Rashidiya in 2010 and settling at its current Muhaisnah 2 campus in January 2017. TPS serves over 2,400 students, predominantly from the Filipino community, and is accredited by the Department of Education of the Philippines as an authorised Philippine School Overseas. The primary language of instruction is Filipino, with English taught as an additional language. The school also delivers Arabic Studies, Islamic Education, Moral Education, and UAE Social Studies to comply with UAE Ministry of Education requirements. TPS is regulated locally by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Tuition approved by KHDA for 2026-2027, unchanged from last year because the school requested no increase: AED 6,443 for KG1 and KG2, 7,585 for Grades 1 to 3, 8,308 for Grades 4 to 6, 9,873 for Grades 7 and 8, 11,076 for Grades 9 and 10, 14,169 for Grade 11 and 16,294 for Grade 12. There is no general discount, so the approved fee is the fee families pay. Senior High School is offered in four strands but all strands cost the same, so the choice of strand does not change the fee. The school follows the UAE academic year starting in late August, not a Philippine calendar. A new student pays an application fee of AED 500 with assessment included, plus an enrolment fee of up to 10% of tuition which is deducted from the first term but not refunded; existing families re-enrol at up to 5% of tuition or AED 500, whichever is higher. Tuition covers teaching only. Charged separately: uniform AED 150 to 400, books AED 1,300 to 2,800, stationery AED 800 to 1,200, optional transport AED 3,700 to 7,500, and external board examination fees at cost. Eligibility-gated discounts are 10% for early payment, 5% and 10% for a first and second sibling and 50% for a third, and up to 100% for school employees. If a family withdraws, tuition paid before the year starts is refunded less the registration fee; after that one month, two months or a full term is deducted depending on how long the child attended, and book fees are refunded only if the child leaves before the year begins. The school publishes no instalment schedule.
