Shining Star International School is a private co-educational Indian school in Shabiya 12, Mussafah (Mohammed Bin Zayed City), Abu Dhabi, established in 2014. It follows the CBSE curriculum based on the NCERT framework from KG1 to Grade 12 (ages 3-18) on an April-March academic calendar, teaching five languages, English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam and Urdu, alongside UAE MoE Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies. The school prepares students for the CBSE AISSE (Grade 10) and AISSCE (Grade 12) board examinations across Science and Commerce streams, supported by Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories, a robotics lab and two libraries. Serving around 1,990 students, its ADEK rating has risen steadily from Weak in 2015 to Good in 2024-25, and at AED 8,630-16,930 it remains one of the more affordable CBSE options in the emirate.
