Pearl British Academy is a private, co-educational British primary school on Muroor Road in Al Danah, central Abu Dhabi — Aldar Education's founding school, opened in 2007 (and formerly known as The Pearl Academy). It teaches the National Curriculum for England, enriched by the International Primary Curriculum and the High Performance Learning (HPL) framework, from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 6 (ages 3-11). A boutique, family-feel school of around 750 children from 50+ nationalities, it was the first school in Abu Dhabi city to achieve HPL accreditation, and is rated Very Good by ADEK (having been Outstanding in 2019/20) and Outstanding under the UK's British Schools Overseas framework. The campus offers a swimming pool, a multi-purpose sports hall, an Astroturf playing field and a ~10,000-book bilingual library, with a strong inclusion ethos under a dedicated Head of Inclusion.
