Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is a research university in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, and the world's first university dedicated entirely to artificial intelligence. MBZUAI fully funds every full-time research student. Admission automatically carries a scholarship covering 100% of tuition plus a monthly living stipend, on-campus accommodation, health insurance and a UAE residence visa (international students also typically receive annual return airfare), with no separate scholarship application. Only a AED 200 application fee applies, and it is waived or reimbursed for a screening-exam score above 75% or upon admission. Two routes are fee-based: the part-time professional Master in Applied AI (MAAI), at roughly AED 5,000 per credit and about AED 170,000 in total with no scholarship, and the undergraduate BSc in Artificial Intelligence, at about USD 45,000 per year with merit scholarships available. All fees exclude VAT.
