One-year MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management covering supply chain strategy, operations management, freight transport, warehouse management, supply chain risk and resilience, and green/sustainable logistics. Mandatory modules (Sep intake Sem 1): Strategies for Managing Supply Chains, Operations Management and Planning, Freight Transport. Mandatory (Jan intake Sem 1): Global Purchasing and Supply, Research Philosophy and Practice. Mandatory continuing modules (Jan): Supply Chain Risk and Resilience, Green and Sustainable Logistics. Final: Logistics and Supply Chain Management Dissertation. Optional: Quality Management, Project Management, Systems Thinking and Analysis. Programme structure updating for AY 2026/2027 to emphasize digital supply chain, supply chain analytics, and sustainable logistics. Evening classes accommodate working professionals. Real-life case studies blend academic theory with industry best practices. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualification; non-graduates with relevant logistics/supply chain work experience also considered. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5, writing 6.0 minimum). September and January intakes. Full-time 12 months; part-time 24-31 months. Tuition AED 107,484/year full-time (incl. Detailed course guide The programme is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills that employers value most, including digital supply chain, supply chain analytics, and sustainable logistics, ensuring you are well-prepared for the future of the industry. Supply Chain Planning Semester 1 (mandatory) This course applies quantitative forecasting techniques to real demand data, justifying model selection based on accuracy and business context. Students will design inventory policies under uncertainty, evaluate the impact of various supply chain planning strategies on organisational performance, and assess the role of ERP systems in supply chain planning integration. Supply Chain Risk and Resilience Semester 1 (mandatory) This course focuses on differentiating risk management frameworks and approaches in logistics and supply chain. Students will utilise risk identification and assessment tools, analyse response and mitigation strategies for specific risks, evaluate resilient supply chains in contemporary business contexts, and appraise emerging risk megatrends within the supply chain and logistics field. Business Analysis and Introduction to Big Data Semester 1 (mandatory) This course focuses on contrasting the approaches of business analysts in solving decision problems in various contexts including logistics and supply chain mangement. Students will appraise the value of business analytics in management decision-making, analyse key statistical concepts in strategic decision sciences, apply analytical techniques for sustainable practices, and effectively communicate business data analytics to diverse audiences. Strategies for Managing Supply Chains Semester 1 (mandatory) This course explores how logistics and supply chain management can be leveraged to gain a competitive advantage. When designing a supply chain strategy we consider taxonomies for the supply chain process selection as well as approaches to design and optimisation of the physical logistics network. Finally, we explore how disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT), might affect the logistics sector and transform supply chains in the future. Sustainable Logistics Semester 2 (mandatory) This course introduce students to logistics operations and focuses on evaluating the externalities of logistics on the environment, economy, and society across various spatial contexts. Students will appraise logistics operations that minimize environmental impact and enhance social responsibility, analyze governance frameworks influencing sustainable practices, and propose innovative, sustainability-focused solutions for complex logistics and supply chain challenges. Global Procurement and Supply Semester 2 (mandatory) Content includes procurement processes and activities; theory and the make or buy decision; category management and supplier sourcing; supplier performance and relationship management; supplier development and the role that purchasing plays in New Product Development (NPD); procuring complex performance; partnership; ethics and social responsibility. Research Philosophy and Practice Semester 2 (mandatory) This course provides an understanding of the social science research process, as well as theory and approaches to research. It also develops practical skills (i.e. quantitative and qualitative techniques) in data analysis to transform the raw data into information that guides marketing management valuations. MSc dissertation A dissertation is then completed between May and August for full-time students and between May and November for part-time students.

Two important industry bodies, the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (UK) (CILT), and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) have accredited our MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme. CILT accreditation Students who successfully graduate from the above degrees will receive an exemption from the academic requirements for membership at either Chartered Member or Member level of the CILT. There may also be a reduction in the length of experience that they would require.
