About This Programme

4-year actuarial science + data science undergraduate combining quantitative methods, statistics, machine learning, and actuarial mathematics. Year 1: Calculus A/B, Elements of Probability, Topics in Statistical Practice, Becoming a Professional. Year 2: Real Analysis, Algorithmic and Scientific Programming, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Data Science Life Cycle, Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, Multivariable Calculus. Year 3: Life Insurance Mathematics, Statistical Models, Stochastic Processes, Bayesian Inference, Survival Models. Year 4: Optimisation, Time Series and Machine Learning, Risk Theory, Statistics Dissertation. Fully accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA, full exemptions from professional exams), the Society of Actuaries (US, UCAP-AC status), and the Royal Statistical Society (RSS). Year 1 entry: A-Level ABB with Math; IB 26 (3 HL incl. Math grade 6); CBSE 75%+ (with 75% Math); American HS 70%+ + SAT I 1100 (500 English / 600 Math); FBISE Grade 12 80% (with 80% Math); Scottish Advanced Higher AB inc. Math + BBBB Highers; or Heriot-Watt Engineering Foundation CCCC. Year 2 entry (Sept only): A-Level AAB inc. Computer Science + A in Math; IB 28 with Computer Science HL + Math grade 6. Mandatory mathematics across all routes. September intake (Year 1 and Year 2). Tuition AED 82,264/year (inclusive of VAT), total programme AED 329,056. 90%+ graduate employment within six months.
