About This Programme

A research-intensive doctorate in the strategic application of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies within organisational and managerial contexts, aimed at IT and management professionals. Year 1 comprises five taught modules (research methods, technology leadership, AI governance and ethics, doctoral proposal); Years 2 and 3 cover dissertation registration, dissertation and defence, totalling 180 credits. Entry Requirements

Academic: Applicants are normally expected to hold: A second-class Master’s degree, or an international qualification recognized as equivalent by the University. A minimum of three years of professional IT experience at a senior level. English Language Proficiency International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English. This is typically evidenced by: An IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with no less than 7.0 in written English, or Proof of previous higher education (undergraduate and/or Master’s) completed in English. RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) Applicants who have successfully completed relevant doctoral-level modules within the past six years may apply for credit transfer. If approved, this may exempt them from completing one or more modules in the program.
