English Language Private School (ELPS) is a not-for-profit British curriculum school in Oud Metha, Dubai, owned by the Pakistan Educational and Cultural Board, which also runs Pakistan Education Academy. It teaches FS2 to Year 13 on the National Curriculum for England, with Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs in Years 10 and 11 and International AS and A Levels in Years 12 and 13, alongside UAE Ministry of Education Arabic, Islamic Studies and moral, social and cultural studies. The school gives 1978 as its founding year, as KHDA's inspection reports do; KHDA's directory lists 1982. It has over 2,000 students from 37 nationalities (the school), Pakistani the largest group (KHDA), and girls and boys are taught in separate sections from Year 5 to Year 11. KHDA rated the school Acceptable at its January 2024 inspection, highlighting students' understanding of Islamic values and UAE culture, the curriculum design, care and support, and very good health and safety. Tuition for 2026-27 is the same on the school's fee page and on KHDA's 2026-27 fact sheets, and KHDA records that the school asked not to raise it. The school's 2026-27 fee schedule splits tuition into three terms (due 1 September, 1 January and 1 April) that add up to AED 1 to 4 less than KHDA's figure in ten year groups (FS2: 1,510 + 1,510 + 1,505 = 4,525); the figures here are KHDA's, which the school's own fee table repeats (it omits Year 3, which KHDA lists at AED 5,884). KHDA lists no mandatory charges on top of tuition, but the school's schedule bills every student each year for extracurricular activities (AED 500), medical (AED 500) and skill development (AED 300), plus enrichment activities in Years 10 to 13 (AED 500), a STEM programme fee in FS2 to Year 9 (AED 200 a term) and GL and Arabic and Islamic benchmark assessment fees; KHDA's fact sheets list the activity, medical, skill-development, enrichment and STEM charges and National Agenda Parameter and Arabic benchmark tests as optional services.

KHDA 2023–2024 inspection
FS2 follows the Early Years Foundation Stage: multi-sensory, play-based learning indoors and outdoors that brings together communication, physical and personal, social and emotional development, literacy, numeracy, Arabic and Islamic Studies. Jolly Phonics supports early literacy, and assistant teachers work alongside class teachers (Curriculum Policy 2025-26).
Key Stage 1 follows the National Curriculum for England, building reading, writing, mathematics and science skills (the school's curriculum page), alongside Arabic and Islamic Studies on the UAE Ministry of Education syllabus. Moral, social and cultural studies starts as a stand-alone subject in Year 2 (KHDA, January 2024).
Key Stage 2 uses Pearson Edexcel's primary curriculum for English, mathematics and science (Curriculum Policy 2025-26), and the school lists English, mathematics, science, Arabic, Islamic Studies, ICT, art, music and physical education for the stage. Girls and boys are taught in separate sections from Year 5. The primary team won the Mubarmij 50 robotics competition (KHDA, January 2024).
Lower Secondary follows Pearson Edexcel's Lower Secondary curriculum for English, mathematics and science (Curriculum Policy 2025-26), and Key Stage 3 introduces physics, chemistry, biology, environmental management and design technology (the school's curriculum page). Girls and boys are taught in separate sections.
Upper Secondary follows the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE programme, which ends with international examinations at the end of Year 11 (Curriculum Policy 2025-26); students choose their subjects through subject selection sessions at the end of Year 9. KHDA's January 2024 report notes that design and technology has been added to the secondary curriculum.
The Sixth Form takes Pearson Edexcel International AS Level in Year 12 and International A Level in Year 13 (Curriculum Policy 2025-26), with science (physics, chemistry, biology), commerce (economics, accounting, business) and digital media and design pathways. The school gives guidance for university applications in the UAE and abroad.
