The City School International – Sharjah

The City School International – Sharjah is a private co-educational British school in the Al Azra area, opened in 2021 and operated by City School Holdings International (a group founded in 1978). It delivers the UK National Curriculum with the Early Years Foundation Stage, using thematic, cross-curricular teaching and introducing French from Year 5, currently from FS1 to Year 6 (ages 3-11). The school is phasing up toward IGCSE and a Sixth Form A Level offering as its cohorts progress. A small school of around 145 students (2022 figure, likely higher now) with average class sizes of about 13 and a ratio below 1:10, it offers inclusive SEN support and is rated Good by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), improved from Acceptable the previous cycle.
