The Cambridge High School

The Cambridge High School, Abu Dhabi is a British-curriculum, co-educational school in Mussafah (Mohamed Bin Zayed City), established in 1988 and part of GEMS Education. It follows the National Curriculum for England from Foundation Stage 2 through Cambridge IGCSE and on to AS and A Level, and is an approved examination centre for Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and Oxford AQA. A BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology runs alongside the academic pathway in the Sixth Form. The school is organised into Primary (FS2 and Years 1 to 6) and Secondary (Years 7 to 13). ADEK's May 2025 inspection rated it Very Good, the rating it has held since 2022, with Outstanding judgements in Cycle 3 for English, mathematics, science, learning skills and teaching. It has 1,769 students drawn from more than 45 countries, the largest groups Indian, Pakistani and Egyptian, with 99 teachers and 29 teaching assistants. Its campus includes an indoor heated swimming pool, separate physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, four ICT labs, two libraries, an auditorium and a multi-purpose court. The Principal and CEO is Kim Teakle-May.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
The ADEK-approved column reads AED 80 higher than the school's own fee from Year 4 to Year 10. That is ADEK's standardized assessment fee, which its approval letters state is included in the tuition it approves for Grades 3 to 9; the school publishes its tuition without it. Every other year group matches exactly.
