About This Programme

AURAK's Bachelor of Science in Psychology gives a grounding in psychological theory, research and practice, with a research-methods sequence running through the second and third years. Students choose one of three concentrations: Counselling Psychology, Business Psychology and Leadership, or Psychological Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence, developed with stakeholders around demand in the UAE and the wider region. AURAK positions the degree both as preparation for postgraduate training and for entry-level roles.

Entry Requirements

Academic: UAE curriculum Advanced (Scientific) 70% or General (Literary) 70%. No additional testing is required.
English: Academic IELTS 5.0, TOEFL paper-based 500, TOEFL internet-based 61, Duolingo English Test 80, or a pass at the required score in the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT) taken at AURAK.

Applications are made online. AURAK's admissions application deadline for Fall 2026 is 30 August 2026 and for Spring 2027 is 3 January 2027.

Accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. AURAK is also institutionally accredited by SACSCOC (US) and QAA (UK). AURAK additionally lists the British Psychological Society and the American Psychological Association under the heading Program curriculum compliance - that is curriculum alignment, not accreditation by either body.
