Al Bateen Scientific Private School is a non-profit private school in the Al Nahyan area of Abu Dhabi City, operated by the Family Development Foundation and established in 1988. It teaches an American curriculum, the California Common Core State Standards with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), fused with the UAE Ministry of Education programme for Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies, from KG1 to Grade 12. The school is co-educational in the early years and becomes girls-only from Grade 4.
