Al Basateen Private Nursery - Hatta Branch is the first private kindergarten established in the Hatta region, originally opened in 1995 and approved by KHDA in 2003. Governed by the Dubai Women's Association, a not-for-profit organisation, the nursery provides co-educational early childhood education for boys and girls aged 3 to 5 following the UAE Ministry of Education kindergarten curriculum with English taught as a second language. Rated Good by KHDA for 2023-2024, the nursery achieved Outstanding in Islamic values and cultural awareness and Very Good in personal responsibility. The school has progressively improved from Weak ratings (2008-2010) through Acceptable (2011-2014) to consistent Good ratings from 2015 onwards. With 124 students, 12 teachers, and 9 teaching assistants, the nursery emphasises social, cultural, economic, and environmental awareness from an early age, aiming to cultivate responsible and engaged citizens.
