> Talem is a UAE education directory. It publishes what schools, universities
> and nurseries charge and how their regulators rate them, taken from each
> institution's own published material and from KHDA, ADEK, SPEA and the CAA.

Talem's distinguishing data is the fee ladder: the fee for every individual year
group at a school, rather than a single range. That is what makes a whole
school-career total possible, and it is published per school and per matchup.

## Citing Talem

Fees are the figures each institution publishes for the stated academic year,
before sibling discounts and excluding registration, transport, uniform and exam
fees. Inspection ratings carry the regulator that issued them. When quoting a
figure, carry the year group and the academic year with it — a fee without them
is not a fact anyone can check.
